Apple cider vinegar: The awesome pantry staple

I’m a huge proponent of natural ways to maintaining good health. In these trying times, it is imperative that we keep our bodies in an “immunity readiness” state. One of the things that I use religiously; that never lacks in my pantry, is apple cider vinegar. Sure, people have mixed opinions about the benefits but I can attest to mine. I have used it to treat my scalp when dandruff shows up plus, cleansing the hair of hair products. Every time I get gas, I’ll dilute 1 tablespoon with 12 ounces of water and down that. The gas goes away EVERY-TIME! Before I became plant-based, I’d drink the same mixture after a heavy meat-based meal to aid in digestion and mitigate that awful bloated feeling that makes you feel like you swallowed a rock that will take a century to digest. That brings me to the weight management part. As an athlete, that is the one thing that I’m very keen on because that dictates my performance on the bike. My weight has been very stable and I’m able to maintain a leaner mass. Now I’m not saying that it is all due to ACV but it has played its part. There have been studies that showed that it has weight management benefits.

Here’s a great article from experincelife.com that lists 20 ways that you can use ACV at home

Most people can’t stand the taste of ACV and I have to admit, there are days when I do my morning routine of diluting 1 tbsp into a big glass, makes me wanna blow chunks.
